Having just returned from Catalonia - more specifically Barcelona - where various formats of mayhem were partaken in, viewed and heard about including staying up to see the sun appear - it occurred to me that regardless of the number of Sun Rises or Sun Sets I see, I never tire of them.
Perhaps this doesn't apply to everyone ..... and maybe a geographical presence can be noticed - I mean it's so regularly cloudy in our neck of the woods that sunsets are few and far between, whereas the Catalonians amongst many other destinations in the world benefit from them more often than not.
Does the frequency of the experience alter its magic?
Regardless, as far as re-occurring natural beauty is concerned this one suits and can enhance and dramatise any setting. The ones I have experienced most have been coastal, so here are some of my photos from the last year.
Barcelona Beach Sunrise (the inspiration for this post)
Huntington Beach, SoCal
Bell Buoy with Seals, off Laguna Beach, SoCal
Sunset, Oceanside, SoCal
Out Fishing, SoCal
Dana Point, SoCal
Poinsettia Lane, Carlsbad, SoCal
Lifeguard Post, Carlsbad, SoCal
At Sea, SoCal
Socal
And that was the end of that story.
